Linda
Linda is a life-long pet owner. Her pets have included dogs, cats, fish, a parrot and horses. Linda has been a caretaker for the horses of others as well as her own horses. Many of her cats and dogs over the years have been rescued from shelters or have been strays that have adopted her. Within the last two years Linda had both a cat and a dog which were both over 18 years old pass away. Both these pets were rescued as adults from local animal shelters and were able to live an additional 13 to 15 years in a loving, caring home. She currently is the loving parent of one cat and very spoiled chocolate lab and one very energetic poodle. Like many pet owners, these pets are her babies.
Linda is an instructor for the American Red Cross, St. Louis Chapter and is authorized to teach the American Red Cross course in Pet First Aid/CPR and the Babysitter Training course. She has also completed recent Pet Behavior/Management Training, is a Certified Pet Sitter with the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), has completed the Vet Assistant III course and is engaged in ongoing education in pet care and dog training.
